Video: 16 Years Old Black Teen Claimed She Is White, A mother brought her 16-year-old daughter to the Dr. Phil show because she seems to be on the bottom floor of the sunken place.
Monique told the show her daughter Treasure began to express prejudice toward her black race when she was 5 years old.
“She wouldn’t play with the Black children,” Monique recalled. “Treasure would mangle or destroy her black dolls. She would cut their heads off, pull off their arms. She would pretend that they were the white dolls’ slaves.”
The teenager admits she isn’t fond of other Black people and rattled off a list of stereotypes to justify her beliefs.
“African-Americans are loud, rude, obnoxious and altogether ugly,” Treasure said.

She also believes white people are more rational, while Black folks are more predisposed to crime.
“White people act and think just way more mature than African-Americans. Black people, they think in a criminal way,” she said. “They’re really dangerous. If an African-American is on the same street as I am, I’ll cross the street to avoid their chaotic, thuggish ways.”
She also has the Ku Klux Klan’s phone number “on speed dial,” and Monique said Treasure wants a “Make America Great Again” hat. Treasure said she would join the KKK if “they offered me a hood.”
One look at Treasure will tell you she is unmistakably Black, but she insists she is a white woman.

“I’m white. I’m a Caucasian because everything about me is different from an African-American,” she said. “When it comes to Black people, I think they’re all ugly, and I have nothing in common with them.”
Monique believes her daughter’s identity crisis started when she told her kids her late husband, who was white, was not their biological father. Additionally, the family had to move to a predominately Black area after the death.
“I wanted them to understand that they were African-American, in fact, as opposed to thinking they were mixed-raced children,” she said. “And it wouldn’t hurt anybody because my husband was no longer alive.”
The kids were shocked by the news, especially Treasure.
“She took the information so hard,” Monique admitted.
Treasure’s brother Kendal doesn’t share his sister’s opinions of Black people.
“I feel like my sister, Treasure, needs to face reality,” he said. “I encourage Treasure to use her intelligence to move us all forward instead of moving us down.”
Dr. Phil brought on a life coach, Spirit, to evaluate Treasure. Spirit believes Treasure’s behavior is a projection of how she feels about herself.
“We have issues around culture, we have issues around class, we have issues around racial identity, and we have issues around self-esteem,” Spirit said. “It’s not that she hates Black people; it’s that she hates herself, and she wants her old life back.”
