Davido Selected As Time100 Next 2021 With A Piece Written By Laycon.
Afrobeat Superstar, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has been selected as Time100 Next for 2021. He was selected based on a piece of content written by fellow Nigerian Star, Laycon.
Davido, who could not hold the joy to himself, expressed his happiness on social media and fans are also showering encomiums to Laycon for his role in Davido’s selection on Time100 Next.

On his write up, Laycon described Davido as the Afrobeat giant and role model to rising stars like him. The impact of Davido’s hit song “FEM” on the 2020 EndSARS protest in Nigeria as it became the anthem for protesters.
There are few other Nigerians selected namely Feyikemi “FK” Abudu, Odunayo Eweniyi and Damilola Odufuwa.
